Hiking with the Tauern Llamas!
Hiking is often associated with reaching a summit, following the motto "further, faster, higher." But it doesn't always have to be about trail running or high-altitude climbing. How about a relaxed hike with the Tauern Llamas?
A llama would never think of wanting to break records. These animals are not concerned with getting to the destination quickly or standing on the highest peak. Llamas enjoy, are relaxed, and have neither urgent appointments nor a fixed schedule! So, anyone wanting to hike with llamas should bring patience and time.
A lush green alpine meadow or a beautiful view can easily lead to a longer break! But beware: the calmness of the animals is contagious ;-)! Just switch off, relax, and let the animals lead you! Stress and haste are not welcome here! Llamas are very sensitive and can sense the restlessness of their companions. Sudden movements and loud noises can easily startle them, so: those who want to befriend llamas must first earn their trust—what a great exercise for all of us!
